Our 5 days tour Casablanca to Merzouga it will start by transfer you to the hotel or Riad in Casablanca
Afert breakfast we will pick you up from your Hotel / Riad driving to Boumalne through Tizi N’ Tichka pass (2260m elevation), enjoying the breath taking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and the Berber villages on the way. Stop for lunch and tour the impressive UNESCO heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou; a famous film backdrop for films like Aladdin, Gladiator and Game of Thrones to name a few. Passing through Ouarzazate, also known as Moroccan Hollywood. Continue to the valley of roses, Skoura oasis with its authentic 17th century buildings and the valley of Dades. Travelling through the valley of a thousand kasbahs and Dades Gorge. Overnight stay in hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Todra Gorge – which is 300 metres high. The gorge is a result of natural forces: both the Dades and Todra rivers have carved through these limestone canyons, with walls reaching 300 metres high! Time to marvel at the beauty of the gorge and take photos. Passing through Berber villages surrounded by date palm oases. After lunch we continue driving to Merzouga desert passing through Erfoud and Rissani . When you arrive at the hotel you will be welcomed with mint tea and take in the view of the beautiful sand dunes.
During your camel ride, we pause in the magnificent sand dunes to watch a wonderful Sahara sunset and enjoy the magic of the dunes and their profound silence. Continue your camel ride, to arrive at the traditional camp where you will enjoy an authentic dinner with Berber music (desert drums beside a campfire), enjoying an amazing sky full of stars. Overnight stay in desert camp. An immersive experience! Spending time in this evocative landscape, getting back to nature, spending time with locals and getting to know their way of life. This is a night to remember!
Sunrise camel trek back to your hotel. On your way back, you will stop to see a spectacular Sahara sunrise and continue to the hotel where you can have breakfast and shower. Leave Merzouga for Marrakech; passing through Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, Nkoub towards Draa valley (where you can take some pictures) and Agdez arrive to Ouarzazate where we will stop for lunch. Continue to Marrakech where our tour ends.
