4 days from Marrakech to Fes

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi N’Tichka- Ait ben haddou-Roses valley – Dades Gorges

We will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech, and we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi N’ Tichka. We pass through small villages and waterfalls, marveling at the continuously changing landscape and colours of the mountain scenery. We will stop for a cup of refreshing mint tea, before taking the road to Ait Ben Haddou in the Ounila Valley. We discover the most famous Kasbah in Morocco strolling the winding streets and enjoying awe-inspiring views of the Atlas Mountains.Then we pass through Ouarzazate in the famous Valley of Roses and Dades Valley, reaching the Dades Gorge in time to watch the sunset. We will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in local hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga desert

After breakfast, we will take walk through the Dades Gorge. Then we drive the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing the village of Tinghir.  We arrive at the Todra Gorge in time for lunch. Then we drive to Merzouga, via Erfoud . Arriving before sunset, set off by camel into the Erg Chebbi Dunes for an unforgettable night in a Berber tent. You will enjoy dinner under a sky full of stars, you will enjoy rhythm of drums and songs of the Berbers and Touaregs of southern Morocco.

Day 3: Merzouga desert

We wake up early to watch the sunrise from the top of high dune overlooking the border with Algeria. Then we return to camp for  breakfast, and we ride your camel back to hotel in Merzouga. Today we will explorer Merzouga area by 4×4. We will drive the same road used in the famous Paris-Dakar Rally, reaching a cave where you will learn how the locals extract fossils from the heart of the earth. We stay in Merzouga hotel for this night.

Day 4 :Merzouga -Ziz valley- Ifrane- Fes 

Today after  breakfast in the local guest house we’ll travel to Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt, stopping in the way to have lunch then continuing to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we’ll stop to see the Barbarian apes in the cedar forest. Then it’s on to Ifrane “the French village”, stopping for a picture or a drink before arriving at your accommodation in Fes where the 4 days from Marrakech to Fes  ends.
