    Itinerary
    5 Days from Marrakech To Desert of Sahara

    DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – TICHKA PASS – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – OUARZAZA – DADS VALLEY 

    The tour starts from Marrakech at 8:00 am by picking you up your hotel/riad or airport, we will drive for approximately 2 hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ‘n Tichka Pass and over the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for photos of the Berber villages; after breakfast. We will stop to visit the town of Telouet and its ancient 17th century Kasbah. Then, we will drive in the direction of Ourzazate where we will visit the UNESCO protected Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and Kasbah Taourirt, one of the most beautiful Kasbahs on this area and get lunch there.

    Afterwards, we will drive to Skoura, a town that overlooks many other beautiful Kasbahs especially the standing 18th century Kasbah of Ameridhil, then we’ll get to KalaatMgouna – famous for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May. Afterwards we’ll stop at boumaln dads dinner and Overnight in a local riad.


    DAY 2 : EXPLORING DADS GORGE AND ROSE VALLEY IMGOUNE TREKKING :

    After breakfast we’ll start exploring and trekking in dads gorge and its landscapes and many berber villages we’ ll take as many stops as you want in this villages.You’ll meet all kinds of farmers, Berber families and kids running. There are no difficult trails. Travel this manner allows for you to soak up the culture of the area as well as see the mountains around you. presenting a beautiful landscape for photos especially with the Kasbahs Afterwards we’ll drive to mgoun valley for som trriking along the river full of traditional berber villages .in late afternoon we’ll head back to your riad for the night and enjoy this region calme and charme.


    DAY 3 : DADES VALLEY – TODGHA GORGE – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA :

    Today may be the best of all. After breakfast at riad we’ll go to todgha gorges where you will have free time to enjoy the panoramic views of Berber villages overlooking the valley, and walk under the 300m high cliff, where many rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Then your journey continues to Merzouga passing through tinjdad (lunch time) erfoud and er-rissani. You will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and a turban (desert scarf) you’ll get a free time to feel the desert .dinner and overnight at our hotel.


    DAY 4 : MERZOUGA AREA EXPLORATION – CAMEL TREK-DESERT CAMP :

    We will wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise and return to get breakfast in your riad .today you’ll be our guest in our birth land it’s time to feel and see our lifestyle. We will go all the way round the dunes via the oasis of MERZOUGA, to the nomadic depository, KHAMLIA village (a truly an African village) you’ll visit the Gnawa people, to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lac of Merzouga, with its bird populations, then you’ll leave for Rissani. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Mali. Here you’ll walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables and cloths. At Lunch time you can have a local pizza. We’ll return to merzouga where you’ll have free time to relax swim and revive the sensation of desert before you mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi and enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert, See it! Feel it! Love it.

    At your nomad tents you’ll have time to relaxed and enjoy the sunset over golden dunes. Words can hardly describe the simple, profound and breathtaking magic of watching the sunset over the golden dunes and finally, you will have dinner in front of the camp, where you will spend your first night under canvas – or if you prefer, under the stars. At your request we can bring Berber nomads musicians to play traditional music with drums and dancing around the campfire. For your convenience, our camp is equipped with western bathrooms and showers.


    DAY 5 : MERZOUGA – RISSANI – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH :

    Your camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch one of the top world rating sunrise Climbing the sand to experience is so often embedded in the minds of our visitors .then you’ll camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga admiring the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After breakfast in the Riad, you’ll leave for Marrakech via draa valley enjoying its oasis and historical building and landscapes .We should arrive at Marrakech at evening where our tour ends by dropping you at any place you choose either hotel or riad.
